Lemaire – The Slip On’s
When looking for a luxury version of men’s flats, we usually never can decide on what pair of shoes can convey not too much loafer and not too much sandal. Our usual recommendation would and probably will always be a good old classic pair of 10 Euro espadrilles in the city, I mean not only are they affordable, comfortable, simple, not too flashy, and practical, but they also are somehow so reminiscent of Chinese Kung-Fu slippers. And honestly which man would turn that down, not only are you minimally chic, but you also are subconsciously ready for any fight (It’s a man’s thing). In essence, we believe this is what makes the Lemaire slip-ons so very irresistibly appealing. They seem to be the only pair of shoes from a luxury brand that doesn’t say too much. Simple, clean, and lacking extensive dialogue, shoe dialogue. P.S Love French Is Better
Chinese Slippers – Straw shoes were worn by almost all people in ancient China regardless of social ranks; nomadic tribes were the exception. Different types of leaves and leaves would be woven together to create these types of shoes. Lotus shoes were worn by women who had bound feet. Exact date of origin is unknown
